Montana Outdoor Experience is a comprehensive activity planning resource for visitors to the Missoula Valley. Whether you are a family looking to try new things or a couple that wants to be pushed to the adrenaline pumping limits, we can help plan all or part of your big sky adventure. We can assist and help you experience everything from horseback riding, fly fishing and river rafting to cross-country skiing and dog sledding - just to name a few.
All activities are customizable and can be tailored to fit the needs of any group, big or small. So take a look at the activities, think hard, be creative, and come get some M.O.E!
Horseback Riding
This is Montana, so get on a horse and ride! (yee haws are encouraged)
Our horseback location takes us through spectacular country. Crossing lush alpine meadows, old growth forests and panoramic mountain passes you run a good chance of seeing deer, elk, bald eagles, moose, bears and coyotes.
There are numerous stream crossings and mountain lakes filled with trout and (optional) night camping at one of these secluded lakes is an experience you will not forget.
Horseback rides:
Full day $130 per rider, includes lunch and beverage.
Half day $90 per rider, includes beverage.
$75 for 2 hour ride (recommended for beginners)
Sample Package - Transportation to ranch, 2 hour trail ride (trail snack and beverage included), transportation back from ranch with lunch at scenic location - $200 for two riders
